He provided detailed findings on demand by specific retail category and recommended an appropriate tenant mix, siting, and marketing strategy for the development to ensure that it complements, rather than competes with, historic Downtown Franklin. The establishment of urban growth boundaries by the State government has impacted on the development potential for convenience goods in this market, resulting in a different type of destination-driven marketing strategy for the developer.
