Mr. Gross tested market opportunities for an R&D park related to the medical school facilities at VCU.  He examined the overall trends in funding for medical research captured by the university and he identified marketing strengths.  This park has since been developed successfully and is an important generator of economic activity and urban regeneration for central Richmond and the Richmond Metropolitan Area.
