Randall Gross / Development Economics completed work on a market analysis, feasibility assessment and strategic plan for development of a luxury (4-5 star) inn, working farm, and spa (along with associated “village” retail/restaurant) at historic Southall Farm, near Franklin, Tennessee. The primary market for this facility will be corporate meetings and spa retreats aimed at the regional and national luxury market. Franklin’s rich Civil War heritage and rolling Middle Tennessee countryside provides a particularly attractive setting for this luxury facility not far from the bright lights of Music City (Nashville). While offering a rural setting, nearby Cool Springs offers corporate headquarters for Nissan and the nation’s largest cluster of hospital management & related technology companies, providing a market base for the facility. The project opened successfully in the summer of 2022.
