Global real estate planning firm sets up local office

Real estate and economic development planning firm Randall Gross / Development Economics has officially opened a Nashville office. The move marks a formal return home for principal Randall Gross, who graduated from the University School of Nashville before studying at Northwestern and Georgetown universities. Gross has worked on about 600 projects around the United States and in 11 other countries, including a number of local projects -- one of them a study published almost two years ago of downtown's capacity to add residential units.
