Mr. Gross and his firm ADEC completed work on a Music Industry Cluster assessment for KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Government in South Africa. Mr. Gross’s work also included design and implementation of the marketing structure for the cluster, through direct outreach, work shopping, and organizing of the various stakeholders. KwaZulu-Natal is home to such world-renowned musicians as Ladysmith Black Mambazo (which released albums with singer Paul Simon) and Solomon Linda (who wrote and recorded the original version of the international hit song “Mbube” (“The Lion Sleeps Tonight”).
