Randall Gross completed work as part of a planning team led by The Walker Collaborative, Inc. on a Management Plan for a new National Heritage Area in northern Alabama, designated by the U.S. National Park Service. Mr. Gross assessed the cultural and environmental heritage base and forecasted the potential for tourism development as a driver for economic development. He also provided input on the financial planning and strategic marketing of the area, on behalf of the National Park Service and the Muscle Shoals National Heritage Area. Muscle Shoals is home to a legendary musical heritage, which will surely play a role in the marketing of the region for tourism.
