eMonti Science & Technology Park Feasibility & Business Plan

Mr. Gross and his South African firm ADEC recently completed work on a Feasibility Study and Business Plan for a Science & Technology Park (STP) in the East London (South Africa) Industrial Development Zone. This work engaged with three universities in the region, namely Walter Sisulu University (WSU) and their Faculty of Science, Engineering and Technology; Rhodes University; and University of Fort Hare. The STP will incorporate R&D from all three universities into joint centers of collaboration with private industry and government. The three centers will focus on natural/plant-based technologies, electrical storage devices & renewable energy, and water testing and treatment technologies. The Business Plan formed the basis for implementation of the park through a Pilot Phase into pre-development.
