Cherry Road Corridor Revitalization Strategy

Mr. Gross completed work for the City of Rock Hill on a revitalization strategy for the Cherry Road Corridor, a major arterial road through the city. An important component of this assignment was to examine market potential generated by Winthrop University, a major anchor within the corridor. The City had previously completed a “College Town” vision plan for the area surrounding the university but little development had taken place since completion of the plan, which lacked economic input. The market analysis and strategic recommendations provided by Mr. Gross aimed at grounding the plan in economic realities but also at identifying and testing viable opportunities for redevelopment.
